Florida Anyone?

So yes it's true! Darin and I are headed off to Florida in about 10 days and 17 hours!!! (But who's counting, right?) I've been eating much healthier and smaller portions because I want to look good in my bikini!! Last summer I was in such good shape from roofing with my dad! Ohhh if only I could get my legs to be like they were last summer!! ha ha ha! Fat chance! Oh well, I'll just chow down on my humongous salad that is fantastic!!
Don't worry, there will be pictures going up from Florida after I get back!!

free falling

I want to paint images at work. Make them look like photographs. I want to play in a dark room and make miracles on paper. I want to stand in a field and watch the wind play with fabric as I capture it with my camera. I want sunlight to dance on my subjects and make them glow. I want desolate places to photograph.
I have so many ideas, I don't want them to disappear. I want to make them real. I want to show people my vision of this world. I want to create art on a daily basis. I want to always feel inspired.

So I got an alumni letter from Brooks and so from there I started looking at the brooks website.... and now I want to go shoot! Damn them!!! Noo, it's not a bad thing! I really should go do it, I need a creative outlet. I want to go take a class at brooks and have all my time sucked up into it... ooohhh how fun that would be right now!! I wish I wish!! Ahh, I wish for fun locations, models who know about posing, strobes, people to hold my reflectors in the right spots.. okkkaaayyy now I'm getting myself all worked up. I want to run home and grab my equipment and go crazy! Maybe I will try something with some sort of a seamless and house lamps.... hmmm I could work that. We'll see, Darin has to be willing to be helper/model... maybe I can bribe him with brownies! ;) I really want to go spend hours in the studio turning out fun images using wonderous equipment that I might not ever be able to afford!! Damnnnn I had it so good! I never even knew it!!!

I will now be accepting donations to buy some ridiculous equipment that will keep me occupied in my free time! he he he!

Yeah, I'm really cool... I really need to get a new computer so When I want to play with photobooth I can use my own computer instead of loading down Darin's computer with pictures like this! ha ha ha

Life is changing!

Everyday is different, everyday is an adventure. Everyday my life changes a little bit more. Hopefully the future holds good things! So far, it's looking great!
