camera wants

So since I gave my mom my film SLR when I started with digital at Brooks and then my dad took back my 30D 7 or 8 months ago I've felt kinda lost. I have no real camera. Sure I love my little point and shoot but it's not the same. And sure I can borrow Darin's camera anytime.. buuut once again, it's not the same. I've been doing some thinking recently and I think I need to save up to get myself a new digital SLR, canon of course. I'm thinking a 40D... or maybe the 50D? I saw that on Costco's website... I dunno, it's around $1,000 for just the body so we will have some time yet before I actually make the purchase! Now if I didn't have any credit card debt I could buy one next week... poop!! I hate you credit cards!!!!

oh well, someday I hope to have a camera of my own again... until then I'll just cry over them in the stores! :'(

home alone

So I'm alone tonight so I thought that I'd do some work on a photo that I took of my car on the way home today. The steelies are back on the car with the hubcaps since I got a screw stuck in my tire on the Rotas... I was having to fill up my tire everyday from almost completely flat. That got old really really fast. I have no free time so I have yet to get it fixed.

So I'm at work >_< I can't wait to get out of here because it's FRIDAY!!! Wahoo!!! The poopy thing is that poor little Darin is sick and I want to go home and take care of him! Now if only I could go home when I got all of my stuff done at work.. um yeah, I'd be home right now! LOL. Anyway, I got a new point and shoot digital camera!! I love it! It's a Canon, duh, the powershot SD780 IS.... so sexy! It's the flat black one. It has 12.1 mega pixels and everything comes out looking really nice! I took a few photos the other day and I have yet to put them up online or even on my computer. I'm slacking!! Well, yesterday I played in the garden and planted 5 tomato plants, 5 pepper plants and 6 zucchini plants! Annnnnd we got a frost last night but I covered up all of my plants with plastic or towels and I'm hoping that they survived!! I will have to venture out there when I get home and take some pictures and post them up here! yeah, hopefully I'll actually go through with that! Someone kick me in the ass when I get home and tell me to go take some freaking photos of my garden and post them!! Seriously tho... do it!
